The Environment and Energy Community Outreach (EECO) Center is a collaborative project headed by Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. to bring consumer services and sustainability education into the Eastern neighborhoods of the City. The building is equipped with energy efficient heating and cooling systems, solar thermal and solar electric (PV) panels, as well as a permeable pavement parking lot and other green features. The purpose of including these technologies is to expose residents to technologies that may lead to green employment opportunities and provide a local resource where residents can see these technologies in action. PVE provided the Site Design, Civil Engineering Services and Architectural Design, including:

  • Structural Design of Building Foundation
