Joe Walton Stadium
Multi-purpose Outdoor Stadium
Robert Morris University
PVE provided Civil Engineering services for this 3,000-seat, multi-purpose stadium located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Robert Morris University Colonials football team and men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. The facility opened in 2005 and is named for Colonials first head football coach, and local football legend, Joe Walton.
PVE designed a Master Plan Stormwater Management Program and a Design, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan Strategy for the Joe Walton Stadium, Student Union building, additional dormitories, and additional playfields and courts located on the campus
We also integrated the field turf drainage system with surrounding stormwater management improvements to eliminate localized flooding problems that previously occurred on campus.
