PROGRAM

PVE completed structural engineering and site design services as part of the redevelopment plans for the former 5-story Westinghouse Electric manufacturing space in the City of Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. The project, located at 7800 Susquehanna Street, converted a blighted building into a catalyst of community change by attracting a diverse group of artists, designers and skilled craftsmen through reasonable rates and sunlit spaces. Producing custom products and hands on training to individuals, 7800 Susquehanna will provide both the economic base and the know-how necessary to create a catalyst of community change. The redevelopment was led by Bridgeway Capital, a non-profit that seeks to provide capital to entrepreneurs and small business in Western Pennsylvania. PVE services include:

  • Site Survey

  • Structural Engineering

  • Site Design & Engineering

  • Preliminary and Final Land Development Plans

  • Utility Design and Coordination

  • NPDES Permitting

  • Construction Drawings

  • Construction Administration
